The annual gross salary will be within the range   34 – 40  k€ and additional allowances may apply.

Within the HR Service and under the supervision of the Head of the HR Administration, Payroll and Labour Relations Unit, you will participate to the upgrade of the HR information system (Personnel Administration, Payroll, Training Administration and Reporting) which must operational on 1st January 2020. During this period, you will interact with the IS Project Coordinator and collaborate with the Payroll Manager, with the following activities:

  • Definition of functional and technical specifications,
  • Participation in the process of selection of the supplier
  • Co-steering of the project on the functional aspects: development and tests

At the end of the project, and after the retirement of the present Payroll Manager, you will be in charge of the supervision of the payroll and ensure the functional coordination of the HRIS. Your missions will be the following:

  • Operate and ensure the reliability of the payroll process and social statements and supervise the Payroll Assistant,
  • Participate to the functional running and update of the HRIS according to legal and functional requirements,
  • Develop, optimize and set up HR reports of HR activity, for internal and external stakeholders.


  • Higher university degree (Master, MSc, DESS, Diplom, Diploma, Ingenieria Superior, Licenciatura, Laurea or equivalent) in Human Resources, Management, Information systems or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience, in payroll management, HR administration  or related consultancy
  • Mandatory knowledge of relevant French regulations and competence in HRIS (previous participation in an implementation project will be highly appreciated)
  • Expected skills: organization, listening, reliability, autonomy, discretion
  • Proficiency in English (working language at the ESRF) and French.
