National Synchrotron Light Source II

The National Synchrotron Light Source II at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, is a national user research facility funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Basic Energy Science. The NSLS-II, a third-generation synchrotron light source, is the newest and most advanced synchrotron facility in the world. As a DOE Office of Science User Facility, it offers researchers from academia, industry, and national laboratories new ways to study material properties and functions with nanoscale resolution and exquisite sensitivity by providing state-of-the-art capabilities for x-ray imaging and high-resolution energy analysis.
