MAX-lab (MAX I / MAX II / MAX III)
Lund University

MAX-lab is a Swedish national laboratory which supports three distinct research areas: Acclerator physics, research based on the use of synchrotron radiation and nuclear physics using energetic electrons. Time at the facility is shared between groups working within these three fields. The laboratory is built around three storage rings for electrons (MAX I, II och III) at which a dozen experimental stations are placed.
